The instructions to construct the flag of Nepal are written into the country's constitution, but use synthetic geometry. To create the flag in MATLAB with synthetic geometry requires toolboxes that are able to effectively find intersections and use a compass. Without a compass, analytic geometry can still be used on the Cartesian plane, using a lot of trigonometry, if you are happy to treat circles as many-sided polygons. Here is the construction of the flag using only analytic geometry.
