Define Constraints

This example shows how to define model-wide constraints that must evaluate to true for a variant configuration to become active.

  1. OpenslexVariantManagement.

  2. In theModelingtab of toolstrip, openDesignsection, clickVariant Manager.

  3. In the Variant Manager, in theConstraintstab, click.

  4. EnterLinNotExternas theNameand(Ctrl~=1) || (PlantLocation ~=1)as theConditionfor the constraint.

    This constraint activates variants that do not use theLinearController andExternalPlant Controller configurations.

  5. To activate and validate the constraint, click theActivatebutton.
