Pan-African Robotics Competition

The Pan-African Robotics Competition (PARC) is an annual series of robotics challenges built around technological development in Africa. Themes have included agriculture, food processing, health care, and smart cities.

PARC is open to middle school, high school, and undergraduate student teams. Middle school and high school teams can work with educational robotics kits, whereas undergraduate teams have full creative freedom to demonstrate their ideas.

MathWorks supports this goal by providing software tools for all PARC teams. Participants can use MATLAB, Simulink, and other products to develop algorithms, test them in simulation, and deploy them to hardware.
